CLEARWATER - The All American Sertoma Club held their Christmas and Awards Banquet December 14 at the Carlouel Yacht Club.
Thirty members and guests were present for their third annual affair at which everyone enjoyed the excellent food and ambience of the Carlouel. Entertainment was provided by Edi Minellie and company.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the club's Sertoman of the Year Award. This award was presented to Ed Day of Clearwater. He is one of the original members of the All American Sertoma Club, which was established in November 1998. His dedication to the club and in service to mankind is appareled and he is most worthy of this award.
The club also voted on their recipient for the Service to Mankind Award; the second of two awards the club presents annually. This award is presented to a non-Sertoman citizen who the club recognizes as someone who exceeds his or her expectations in community affairs. The award will be presented to the recipient at an up-and-coming club meeting in January.
