CLEARWATER - Residents of Island Estates participated in their annual holiday lighting contest, and the winners were announced December 17. The winners for each category include:
Decorations in the Front of a House - First Place: Mongelluzzi residence: 7 Leeward Island
Decorations in the Front of a House - Second Place: Brawley residence: 95 Windward Island
Decorations in the Front of a House - Third Place: Bierdman residence: 436 Midway
Waterside (rear) Decorations - Millington residence: 330 Leeward
Condominium - Sunwatch Condos
Business - Executive Realty
Prizes for the homes and business categories included gift certificates for a lovely dinner-dance cruise courtesy of StarLite cruises, and the Sunwatch Condominium received a beautiful poinsettia plant for the lobby.
Island Estates has long been known for this happy holiday tradition and receives many visitors each year who come to admire the festive display.
