
Jack Romig, novelist and screenwriter, will be the guest speaker of the St. Petersburg Group of Florida Writers Association.
Jack is a member of Mystery Writers of America (MWA), and Travel Writers International Network (TWIN). He is past president of Pinellas Authors and Writers Organization (PINAWOR) and Bay Area Professional Writers Guild (BAPWG), and past Regional Director of Florida Writers Association. Jack is a frequent speaker on The History of Mystery. His articles, photos, and short stories have appeared in publications. His short fiction has twice received honorable mention in the Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine contest.
He served four years in the U.S. Marines, two years of that time in the Far East. Jack is a retired state criminal investigator supervisor and an award winning painter and potter. As an amateur archaeologist, he has assisted on digs in Ohio and Central America, and is past Vice-President of the Archaeological Society of America-Toledo, Ohio chapter.
