Church Women United of Central Pinellas helps support Women on the Way of St. Petersburg College, Pace School for Girls, Safe House, Young Life, Farm Workers, Religious Community Service and others.
Celebrations are open to everyone and are about social justice and are celebrated nationally at the same time. The next celebration is Heritage Day and is about Human Rights. It will be held Friday, January 19, at 9:30 a.m.; registration at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 825 Howard Street, Clearwater.
