
Clearwater Libraries focus on healthy living this winter. East Library will host, Your Diet Is Driving Me Crazy on January 23, at 7 p.m. Cynthia Sass, senior dietitian and adjunct instructor at the University of South Florida and spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association, will explore our relationships with food and discuss the hot topics of cholesterol, diabetes, obesity and insurance issues. Copies of her book will be available for sale.
Also at East, Staywell/Healthease representatives present Informed Health Care to discuss health care options and answer questions about recent changes to Medicaid for individuals and families who qualify through the Department of Children and Families, State of Florida, on January 16, from 2 - 5 p.m.
St. Petersburg College will present personal fulfillment courses ranging from Retirement Planning to Basic Photoshop in Lifelong Learning at Countryside on January 23 at 2 p.m. Healthy Aging with Supplements will also be featured at Countryside on February 13, at 2 p.m., when local pharmacist, Pamela Seefeld, will discuss a natural approach to aging.
