The Largo Cracker Quilters, Inc. will present its Celebrate the Quilt 2007 Quilt Show January 26 and 27. The theme of the show is " Celebrate the Quilt - Explore the Art. The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m in the Christian Life Enrichment Center, St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1199 Highland Avenue in Largo.
Speakers will include: June Colburn, Batik-Textile Treasures of Bali; Mellany Lieuwen, Heirloom Applique for Today's Busy Woman; and Brenda Grampsas, Granny's Quilts From the Past.
There will be 150 quilts, quilt appraisals, vendors, boutique, look-and-learn demos, door prizes, silent auction and charity quilt drawing.
