CLEARWATER BEACH - Sand Key's first and only bar and lounge located directly on the Gulf of Mexico has scheduled its official GRAND OPENING for Friday, January 26th. The Sunset Bar is located on1590 Gulf Boulevard (between mile markers 20 and 21) on the upper terrace level of the Cabana Grill and Bar and promises to be THE local hang out for Sand Key and Pinellas residents with live entertainment five (5) nights a week.
Friday's "Grand Opening" event will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, an elongated happy hour from 6 p.m. to closing, and several other surprises.
The Sunset Bar will operate Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m., staying open late, until 12 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (Management plans on staying open later if customers remain).
Manager Ricco Minasian will operate The Sunset Bar. Ricco, originally from Montreal, Quebec, has over 25 years of in-depth food and beverage experience including everything from casual dining to cigar and martini bars.
Lunch and dinner will be served at the Bar, which will have a full food menu. The Bar will also have an EXCLUSIVE martini menu with 29 specialty martinis, as well as draught beer, bottled beer, wine by the glass, wine by the bottle and a dozen amazing frozen cocktails.
In addition to regular bar and lounge operations, The Sunset Bar is available for private catering functions with advance notice. With breathtaking views of the Gulf, the lounge is a perfect place for anything from a wedding reception to a private business function.
