Special Storytelling Program for Special Children

PALM HARBOR - A unique new musical storytelling program for visually impaired and physically challenged children ages 4-9 will be offered at the Palm Harbor Library. On Saturdays, March 3, April 7, and May 12, from 10 - 11 a.m., CeCe Jensen, a long-time community resident, author and song writer, will present "The Adventures of Alexandra". The program will include reading and singing along with books that have been printed in Braille.

The story focuses on a young fairy who sets out to explore the world around her new home. Along the way, she encounters a variety of colorful, playful characters who lead her farther and farther away from her family. Alexandra has lots of fun meeting new friends and seeing new places . . . until she realizes she has left without telling her mother!

Advance registration is required. Please contact the Youth Services Department at 784-3332, Ext. 206. For children younger than 4, special times can be arranged.
