(from left) Benton Jones, Jacob Kruger, Andrew Szarejko, Brandon Torok, Jonathan Eudy, Todd Piper, Samuel Piper, Carolyn Piper and Benjamin Piper were among the some 28 students and parents from Calvary Christian High School who gathered on the Ream Wilson Trail behind the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater Saturday to remove plant waste and other debris from the areas where invasive air potato vines had been removed by city workers. Students from the school, which has adopted Del Oro Park on the Trail, have partnered with the City of Clearwater on several service projects during the past year. "It's great to see our youth doing such positive work in their community. The City of Clearwater truly appreciates the hours Calvary's students have given us," said city volunteer coordinator Karen Maldonado.
