CLEARWATER- The GFWC Clearwater Community Woman's Club 36th Annual Daisy Award and "Spring Fling" Fashion Show will be held on Thursday, March 22nd, at the Harborview Center in downtown Clearwater. The Pace Center for Girls will be the recipient of the Daisy Award for their outstanding contribution in serving the needs of at risk young women in Pinellas County.
The Clearwater Community Woman's Club (CCWC) was founded in 1971 to serve the City of Clearwater in various volunteer and community orientated projects. Some of the past winners of the Daisy Award were Clothes to Kids, Lighthouse of Pinellas, RCS Food Bank and Women on the Way.
The community may help support CCWC's efforts by purchasing ads in the event program and donating door prizes and gift certificates which will be used as opportunity prizes the day of the event. To make reservations to the event call 727-535-2612 by March 13th. Reservations can also be mailed along with a check for $40 to GFWC Clearwater Woman's Club, PO Box 6074, Clearwater, FL 33758-6074 before the March 13th reservation deadline.
