The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute are hosting an educational seminar series called "Conversations About Colorectal Cancer" to help raise public awareness about the importance of initiating and maintaining an open physician/patient dialogue. The seminar will be held March 3, from 8 a.m. - 3:15 p.m., at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, 12902 Magnolia Drive in Tampa. General sessions will be held in the auditorium. It is designed to promote a sense of hope by encouraging discussions that offer information about improving quality of life and the latest treatment advances, as well as give patients and caregivers the opportunity to listen and support each other in their fight against colorectal cancer.
The seminar is intended for all colorectal cancer patients, long-term survivors, caregivers, family and friends. Nurses and other healthcare professionals are encouraged to attend.
