East Lake High School's Performing Arts Department will be presenting Leader of the Pack: The Ellie Greenwich Story by Anne Beatts, music and lyrics by Ellie Greenwich and Friends, for their spring production.
The show will be performed Thursday, March 15, through Saturday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. The East Lake High School Theatre is located at 1300 Silver Eagle Drive, Tarpon Springs. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 general admission and $8 for senior citizens. All seating is general, and there is no reserve seating. The Broadway musical Leader of the Pack tells the story of Ellie Greenwich who wrote hit songs in the sixties such as "Chapel of Love," Da Do Ron Ron," "Be My Baby," and "Do Wah Diddy" and the title song of the show "Leader of the Pack." With a high spirited show, the audience will never guess the sixties could sound so good.
