TAMPA - Is the tomb for real? Are the inscriptions fake? What is the validity of the claim that Magdalene and Jesus had a son? What is fact? What is conjecture? Why do scholars disagree?
On March 28th, from 6:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m., Dr. James F. Strange, world renowned biblical Archaeologist and New Testament expert, will discuss the Jesus Tomb in his lecture, Archaeology, Text, and the Jesus Tomb.
Dr. Strange will discuss the validity of the claims made in James Cameron's Discovery Channel documentary, The Lost Tomb of Jesus, and examine the evidence archeologically and textually as it relates to the "Jesus Family Tomb."
"There have been at least five similar tombs found in the last century," Dr. Strange says. "What makes this one so significant is the amount of attention it has received in the media."
Dr. Strange will present his lecture at Bayshore Baptist Church located at 3111 W. Morrison Ave., on the corner of MacDill and Morrison in South Tampa.
