Doreen Saccardo, who is shown with "Sportie", a 15-year-old green iguana, is a member of the Suncoast Herpetological Society, which meets monthly at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park Trail Lane, in Clearwater. Persons with an interest in reptiles and amphibians are invited to join the not-for-profit club dedicated to education. Meetings feature programs related to herpetology.
