LIADO - The Italian-American Women of Today presents the first annual "I Make the Best Italian Meatballs" Cook-off Tuesday, March 27, 6 p.m. at the Timber Greens Country Club located at 6333 Timber Greens Blvd., (off of River Crossing Blvd.) New Port Richey .
The contest is open to anyone who feels that they have a prize winning Italian meatball recipe and is ready to prove it. The contest will be limited to the first 30 amateur cooks to register and pay their entrance fee. (No professionals, please) A distinguished Panel of Judges/Tasters will rate all entries for taste, eye appeal, texture and presentation. Gold, Silver and Bronze metals will be awarded. The first place winner will receive $100.
