They were among the youngest surfers to show their skills on the water that day. Some 400 spectators lined the beach for the event. The Pro Men's division featured a $1,000 pro purse. Winners were Pete Anderson, first place, $700; Brad Domke, 2nd place, $200; and Chris Splendore, 3rd place, $100. Steve Bradford took home the $500 purse awarded for "Best Air".
