BELLEAIR BEACH - The city's Belle Isle Park is getting a beauty makeover. New plantings will be installed around the park on Saturday, March 31, by Park Board members and resident volunteers.
City residents and others interested in helping create an attractive new landscape at one of Belleair Beach's prime green spaces are encouraged to come out and join in the planting.
Volunteers can plant, water, or assist in other needed tasks in line with their interests and abilities. The planting will begin at 9 a.m. and last most of the day. Volunteers can stay as long as they wish.
Our Parks… Our Price has been the Park Board's motto. The Belle Isle project is one of several the board and city staff are undertaking to give the city's valued green spaces a vibrant new appearance - and offer residents a new source of pride.
Volunteers should contact Peter Cavalli at City Hall, 595-4646 Ext. 123.
