LARGO - Learn new dance steps, make new friends and most of all have a lot of fun. Largo offers a variety of classes to choose from.
If Ballroom Dancing is your thing, there are classes on how to lead, follow, and keep time to the music offered every Monday, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m., at the Highland Complex (400 Highland Ave.).
How about something more traditional like Israeli Folk Dancing? On Thursdays, 7:30 - 9:45 p.m. at the Community Center (65 4th St. NW), learn circle and group dancing from the Israeli nationality.
If you can't get enough of country music, then try out a Line Dancing or Square Dancing class. Finally, if you remember the "Jitter-Bug," Lindy Hop, and others like them, Swing-dance to the "Mostly Swing" Big Band sound! All levels of dancers are welcome. Admission includes a basic East Coast Swing Dance Lesson. These classes are available at both the Highland Complex and Community Center.
