LARGO - On April 5, at 7 p.m., at Largo Public Library located at 120 Central Drive in Largo, historian and writer Dr. James M. Denham will present "Who are the Florida Crackers," a program that will explore the historical and cultural characteristics of Florida's elusive, yet ever-present native folk.
Dr. James M. Denham is a specialist in Southern and Florida history and the Director of the Center for Florida History at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. This program is free and open to the public. Call the Library at 587-6715, ext. 2514, for more information.
