LARGO - This is the second year for this free Sunday afternoon picnic themed event on April 15 from 1-6 p.m.. Largo is a family community and loves to celebrate it.
Entertainment will include local favorites like Lorna Bracewell as well as the watermelon and pie eating contests. Local businesses, not-for-profit organizations and civic groups will be hosting activities. You can ride the Largo Central Railroad train through the park. Play horseshoes, volleyball or make your mark on the paintboard. Add food and concessions to all that and you have a wonderful picnic day in Largo Central Park.
Parking is limited on site. Off site parking with free shuttle service is available from Largo High School and the Pinellas County School Board Offices. Please, no coolers or alcohol. For more information, call 727-5887-6740 ext. 5014.
