Betty Boop, the Beach Queen, invites you to the FL '50's Original Rocker's, (dance group) 8th Annual "Spring Fling" Sock-Hop, Saturday, April 28th, at the American Legion Post #7, 1760 Turner St., Clearwater, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The "Original Rocker's" listening and dancing music of the 50's - 60's, will be presented by DJ's "Storming' Norman" and "Bobbie Sox."
There will be line dances and contests to test your skill, with prizes and door prizes all evening long.
Dress is fifties style or come as you are (socks optional)!
The dance group will prepare sandwiches and have snacks available and open bar will also be on hand for beverages, all at a nominal cost.
The Original Rockers dance club participates in many community functions in Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, and throughout the whole Tampa Bay area. Proceeds from the sock-hop and food sales are to go to a local charity.
