Licorice Schtick, a Tampa Bay area clarinet quartet, will present a concert on May 11, in the Music Center on the Gibbs Campus of St. Petersburg College. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public. The address of the college is: 6605 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg
Licorice Schtick plays an eclectic mix of jazz arrangements, original contemporary works by its members, and transcriptions of recognized classical music. The members of the quartet, John Creveling, David Irwin, Larry Kleinfeld and Pete Temko, come from disparate backgrounds, but share a love of fine music very well played.
