LARGO - The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tampa Bay will host a Bird Adoption Day with Safe Haven Avian Placement Services on May 6, from noon to 5 p.m., at 9099 130th Ave. N. Dozens of exotic birds, from parakeets to cockatoos and everything in between, will be looking for new, loving homes.
Safe Haven provides rescue, education and permanent placement services for homeless companion birds.
