John and Sheila Smith, hosts of Membership Luncheon
Fine Arts Society honored new members and members who have been actively involved for 20 years and more at a champagne luncheon in the home of gracious hosts John Sheila Smith on Thursday, April 19th. Nine new members were welcomed to the Society with a red rose. Members who have been with the Society 20 years or more were toasted with champagne and received a white rose for their dedication and support.
Fine Arts Society is a fundraising organization, the proceeds of which are donated to the Gulf Coast Museum for education purposes. The Fine Arts Society is presently sponsoring the "Marlene Rose; Form and Luminosity" exhibit at the Museum.
Members meet monthly for educational programs at various museums throughout the county and the state.
