ST. PETERSBURG - American Stage Theatre Company, Tampa Bay's longest-running and most award-winning professional theatre, has announced equity and non-equity auditions for their 29th season of plays and musicals on May 28 and 29.
How to Audition - For this call actors should prepare one song and one monologue of their choice; if actors do not wish to sing, they may prepare two monologues. The audition should not exceed three minutes; audition slots will last five minutes. There may be callbacks at a later date. An accompanist will be provided.
Please note, audition will be Monday, May 28, and Tuesday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Auditions will take place at American Stage, 211 3rd St. South, downtown St. Petersburg. Auditions are by appointment and can be made by calling Tom Block at 727-823-1600 ext. 208, or emailing him at tomblock@americanstage.org. Those who want to audition should leave their name and phone number and options for two appointment times. Equity members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits.
