LARGO - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office will hold its second annual Law Enforcement Explorer Academy May 21 to June 1. It will be held at the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office, 10900 Ulmerton Road.
The academy will be conducted by Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 900 and is open to children, ages 14 to 18, who are enrolled in local schools or colleges.
The training will involve a number of hands-on activities and realistic scenarios. Those attending will visit a number of different locations such as the jail, courthouse, forensics and other locations.
