We are residents of ("Prestigious") Island Estates and cross the Memorial Causeway Bridge on most trips off the island. Obviously, no one from the city (Department of Public Works) ever crosses the bridge or does so blind folded.
The amount of tire tracks on the median and along the concrete barriers is a disgrace. This bridge was to be a showpiece of Clearwater Beach. Instead, it resembles the lower east side of any major city throughout the United States.
For a bridge that cost approximately 79 million dollars to not be maintained, groomed and properly cared for is a disservice to the taxpayers, visitors and anyone who uses this conveyance.
Also, it would be encouraged that some correction be made so that we do not lose another life or street light on this bridge. Anyone without an engineering degree can assess the improper cantor of the bridge nearest the east end south side.
