David Perkins, longtime Clearwater resident, was honored by North Ward Elementary as King of the May at the Spring Fling May 3. Pictured on his left is his wife, Betty McGraw Perkins. Mr. Perkins began First Grade at North Ward in 1925. He graduated from Clearwater Junior and Senior High schools. His children and grandchildren attended North Ward also. He has served on the North Ward SAC and was a founder of the Alumni Association. Families feasted on Outback dinners and enjoyed the Spring Concert and May Pole Dance.
