With graduations, June weddings and summer holidays on the horizon this month, Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark is reminding all county residents to update their voter information now.
College students with new mailing addresses, brides with new names and families relocating over the summer will all need to update their voter information.
Three countywide elections are scheduled in 2008, and additional municipal elections are expected, including St. Petersburg and Largo this fall.
For the Presidential Preference Primary early in 2008, voters will only be eligible to vote for candidates from the political party with which they are registered. Check your party affiliation to make sure it reflects your party of choice.
Address changes within the county may be made by phone. Other updates may be made by completing and signing a Voter Registration Application with the changes noted. The application is available at www.votepinellas.com. Updates may also be completed at any voter registration event.
