LARGO - The Indian Rocks Baptist Church grounds were packed Saturday, May 12, for the annual Mother's Day weekend "Walk For Life" fundraiser for The Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County. Compassionate members and leaders from 110 churches county wide participated in the two-mile long Walk to celebrate life and raise funds to provide free healthcare for pregnant women. The Walk was also held concurrently at Countryside Christian Center in Clearwater and over Tampa Bay on the Friendship Trail Bridge.

The Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County provides free services to women, teens and families dealing with unplanned pregnancies. The Center is funded by private individuals and churches who wish to empower women and ease their crisis situations caused by unplanned pregnancies, so that they may see all of their options and hopefully choose life over abortions. In the past 22 years, the Pregnancy Center has helped over 40,000 women and families.
