CLEARWATER - Summer exhibits are on display in the Clearwater Main Library's Galleries, 100 N. Osceola Ave.
Progress Energy Heart Gallery: Local children, ages 8-16, are featured in this traveling exhibit. Read their stories through the professional portraits that feature the faces, voices, and stories of foster children. On display June 1 - Aug. 10, Osceola Gallery. Note: a special gallery reception will be held June 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. Heidi Akers, President of the Heart Gallery, will speak about the gallery's mission and representatives of the Safe Children Coalition will be available to answer questions about adopting and fostering.
About Face: Self-portraits drawn by Clearwater youth are provided courtesy of City of Clearwater Cultural Affairs Department. On display June 1 - Aug. 28, Carnegie Gallery.
Awesome Bead Hats: Collectable and unique beads are provided by Maryann Larson. On display June 1 - Aug. 28, 1st Floor Lobby.
