CLEARWATER - The City of Clearwater Solid Waste Department again proved it is the team to beat at the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Sunshine Chapter Road-e-o. This year, the event celebrated its 25th Anniversary and was held May 11-12 in Lake County, Fla. The Road-e-o- featured 200 of the finest solid waste employees from the public and private sector, and is held to promote the skills of professional solid waste drivers, equipment operators and mechanics from across Florida. More than 20 cities and counties were represented at the event.

Mark Beery and Tony Hadley will advance to compete at the International Event, held in September in Atlantic City, N.J.
