CLEARWATER - Fireside Concert Series will be held Saturday, June 9, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park Trail Lane.
Listen to and participate in the high energy, drumming sights and sounds of King James of the Sun Drummers as he leads a Fireside Drum Circle. Enjoy the hypnotic moods of rhythms from around the world, then move to their beats instructed by dancer exraordinaire, Francis Little Wolf as she teaches African and Caribbean Dances. Everyone is invited to bring along a drum or percussion instrument to play along with the troupe during the performance.
During intermission enjoy beverages and toast marshmallows around the campfire, and for those with camping cookout skills, turn your toasted marshmallows into delicious s'mores. All the fixings are provided. All this, PLUS one free return trip general admission receipt per person for each paid admission to the concert!
The concert is held indoors during inclement weather. Admission is: 13 years and up - $5, 3 to 12 years - $3, and 2 years and under - $1.
