
Spend Your Days in Paradise!SARASOTA - Marie Selby Botanical Gardens seeks volunteers to assist in its vital mission of research, conservation, education, and horticultural display. Selby Gardens' volunteers enjoy wonderful benefits including free admission to the Gardens, discounts on memberships and in the shops, and free and reduced-price community classes. Volunteer orientations are scheduled for Tuesday, June 19, at 2 p.m. and Monday, July 23, at 9 a.m. These orientations will offer a chance to explore the possibilities of joining the Selby Gardens family and include an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. Volunteer positions are available in the Center for Tropical Plant Science and Conservation, the Welcome Center, the Display House and Tour Guide program, the Mansion Museum, on the grounds and in the greenhouses, and in the special events department.
