Upper Pinellas African Violet Society to Hold SaleCLEARWATER - The Upper Pinellas African Violet Society's announces a sale will be held Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church, 2039 E. Druid Rd., Clearwater, (between Belcher and Hercules -- parking and hall behind church). UPAVS has one of the largest selections in Florida of African violet-related supplies for sale. There will be many varieties of flowering African violets, starter plants, leaves and the other gesneriads on sale Members will be on hand to answer questions on growing violets and the other gesneriads beautifully.
