Back to School Fair Benefits Clothes To KidsThe Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin is teaming up with Clothes To Kids to provide backpacks filled with school supplies and a full week's supply of school clothes to 100 low-income Pinellas County school children. Food and beverages will also be served at the fair. Volunteers are needed to help at the fair on Saturday, July 14th, to help distribute backpacks, serve beverages and food, and help with the check-in/check-out process. If you can't volunteer but would still like to help out, here's what you can do. For only $15, you can help a child begin the school year with confidence as they enter the classroom prepared for learning and dressed for success. Checks can be made out to JLCD and mailed to:
Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Founded in 2002, Clothes To Kids, Inc. is a year-round organization that provides new and quality used clothing to low-income children in Pinellas County, free of charge. It is located at 1059 North Hercules Avenue in Clearwater. The organization is currently in need of monetary donations to help stock the store with warm clothes and jackets. Donations are fully tax-deductible and can be mailed to P.O. Box 184, Dunedin, Florida 34697 or dropped off at the store location.
