
$5,000 Reward Offered for Information Leading to Arrest Of Suspect(s) Involved in the Theft Of $5.2 Million Prescription MedicationsTroy, Ill.- July 2nd 2007- RXTIPS/ Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for a cargo theft containing over $5 million of prescription medications. The DEA and Troy, Ill. police department are investigating the theft of a cargo shipment that occurred at the Pilot Travel Center near the intersections of I-55 and I-70. RxTIPS/Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's assistance with any information that will help local law enforcement solve this crime. The cash reward offered by RxTIPS/ Crime Stoppers is donated by pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P. "It's important for people to know that all information that we get is kept completely confidential. Callers never have to give their names or appear in court. Crime Stoppers does not use any taping or caller ID devices," said RxTIPS Coordinator Chuck Kreimer.
