Friends Book & Gift Store Needs Paperback Books and VolunteersCLEARWATER - The Friends of the Library Book & Gift Store (in the Main Library) needs donations of paperbook books, in good condition, for resale in the store. Bring your donations to the Main Library (100 N. Osceola Avenue) or call Judy Bazata, 461-6272, for pick-up if needed. Volunteers are needed to work certain days and hours at the Friends Book & Gift Store at the Clearwater Main Library. If you like to be around people and books, this is a great opportunity. A short training session is required. The Friends Book & Gift Store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Friday and Saturday. The work hours are variable and are generally two hours a week. To volunteer, call Rosalie Murray at 531-0667. Proceeds from the Friends of the Clearwater Library bookstores are used to enhance the Clearwater Public Library system. The Friends are proud of their commitment to the public library system.
