Cooters Raffle Benefits Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Clearwater - Proceeds from a raffle held during Cooters Restaurant's 14th Anniversary Party over the May 18th weekend were donated to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium's Turtle department. Pictured below (left to right) are CMA's Rebecca Snowden and COO Jody Armstrong receiving the $1220.00 donation from Cooters' owner Carol Mears and manager Joan Roush. Cooters sold raffle tickets for chances to win one of three televisions to raise the money. Clearwater Marine Aquarium was thrilled to be the chosen recipient of the funds to help support the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sea turtles.
