Laugh With A Child!You can make a difference in the life of a child. Become A Mentor! Every child needs someone to trust.Gulf Coast Community Care provides that relationship by matching you with a child in need. Volunteers spend a few hours a week sharing activities and interests with a child such as, arts and crafts, sports and active listening. Mentors provide a positive role model and individual attention to a child. Volunteers receive training, and support from staff. Adults Mentoring Children also sponsors group activities for matches, including an annual picnic, a bowing party, a holiday party and other fun group activities. Become a mentor and make a real difference in the life of a child. There are 70 children of all ages throughout Pinellas waiting for mentors.
