City of Clearwater Announces Summer 2007 Neighborhood and Homes of the QuarterCLEARWATER - One neighborhood and four homeowners have been selected for the city of Clearwater Summer 2007 Neighborhood of the Quarter and Home of the quarter awards. Clearview Lake Estates was selected as the Neighborhood of the Quarter for its residents' continuing dedication to improving their neighborhood. Paul and Debbie Truck, Robert and Denise Resch, Ron and Alisa MacCarthy and Fay Patterson received Homes of the Quarter awards. The selected homeowners have sustained or made significant improvements to their property, enhancing their neighborhoods and the community. A Neighborhood of the Quarter sign will be posed at the Clearview Lake Estates entrance. Mayor Frank Hibbard will present the neighborhood with a certificate and a neighborhood photo mounted on a plaque at the July 19 City Council meeting. He will also honor Home of the Quarter recipients with bronze plaques and certificates of appreciation. Yard signs will also be provided for Home of the Quarter award winners. The Neighborhood of the Quarter and Home Recognition program is open to all Clearwater city residents and neighborhood associations. The city will be accepting nominations for the Fall awards until August 18, and information abut the program is available through the Neighborhood Services Division at 562-4585 or 562-4554.
