Colonial Dames XVII Century Presents Donation to Largo Library
LARGO - Julia Noah at left, president of Berkeley Plantation Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century, accompanied by Phoebe McCue, treasurer, presents a check for $500 to Scott Thompson, Administrator of the Largo Library Foundation. The money is a memorial in honor of Margaret (Peggy) Anderson, former member of the Chapter, and it will be used to purchase books for the Genealogy Section of the Largo Library. Colonial Dames XVII Century is an organization of women who are interested in colonial research and are lineal descendants of an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701.
