"The Tapestry of Life-Gold and Black Threads"CLEARWATER - On Wednesday, August 8, the Clearwater Christian Women's Club is hosting their monthly luncheon at the beautiful Cove Cay Country Club on the northeast corner of U.S. 19 and Haines Bayshore in Clearwater. The Dress Barn of Largo Mall will be presenting a Style Show featuring some of the latest affordable fashions for all occasions. Art Bishop, organist from the Fletcher Music Co., will be delighting everyone with his fantastic musical renditions before the luncheon, during the style show, and will be spotlighted during the meal. Ann Combs of Ocoee, FL., will share her story of how the tapestry of her life has gone from a dark, not very pretty pattern, to a bright beautiful design. Ann, a professional hairdresser, rushed head on into life doing things her way. What changed her life? All women are welcome. The club is not affiliated with any church or denomination. There are no dues or membership. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Free child care is available.
