
Join the Girl Scouts at Kaleidoscope for Family-Friendly Fun!Join the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida for a day of family fun at the Florida State Fairgrounds. The fourth annual Kaleidoscope festival will be held Saturday, September 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is open to Girl Scouts, their families and friends, and the general public. Admission and parking are both free. Visitors should use the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard entrance to the Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds will be filled with more than 100 Activity Booths where the Girl Scout council, local Girl Scout troops, and community partners will offer a variety of hands-on activities. Enjoy sports, crafts, dance, batting cages, and a climbing wall. Learn about robotics, animals, geocaching, forensics, sign language, "mad science," and camping skills. Participate in the 1K Fun Walk or have your child fingerprinted for safety. Then purchase the latest in Girl Scout gear from the Girl Scout Store. Come to the Fairgrounds for Kaleidoscope. Learn more about Girl Scouting and have a great time! Vendors will have food and drink available for purchase. More than 2,500 people attended last year's Kaleidoscope festival.
