Kobel, Chairman of the March 2007 "Tampa Bay Festival with Luis Palau," announced that a new leadership program based on Christian Leadership Principles will begin this Fall in the Tampa Bay area. Lifework Leadership is a 501© 3, established for the purpose of providing leadership development from a Christian Worldwide based on the life and leadership of Jesus Christ. Originally established in the Orlando area over 15 years ago, Lifework Leadership's desire is to develop a new generation of leadership that would live out their vision for transformed leaders who could impact their home, church and community. "The transformation in Central Florida has caught the attention of leaders in cities around our nation and they asked Lifework Leadership to replicate the training program in their city," stated Kobel. "In the fall of 2006, affiliate organizations started in both Pittsburgh and South Florida. Beginning this Fall, we are honored to offer the program to our own community in the Tampa Bay area." Kobel also announced Ken Weibeck as Executive Director of Lifework Leadership Tampa Bay. Wiebeck was a member of the steering committee established in 2004 to bring the "Festival with Luis Palau" to the Tampa Bay area and joined the staff of the Festival as Marketing Director in the year leading up to the March 2007 event.
