Not to worry. Matt and Jori Zarra offer a service that's bringing pet owners peace of mind, right to their door. The Zarras own a pet food delivery service. They sell Nature's Select brand, which is made in the U.S., with no imported ingredients from China, and compares in price to eukanuba and Science Diet. Now in business for five months, Matt said, "My wife and I took this distributorship over in March of 2007. The original owners started in this area in 2001. We currently have over 600 customers and we are growing every day." The Zarras' territory covers Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, and Polk counties. Nature's Select has been in business since 1995, originating in Orange County, Calif. Foods are made with human grade chicken, fish and lamb, not processed, left over scraps that nearly all of the major brands include in their products. Whole grains are mixed with the meats, with the exclusion of corn, wheat, wheat products, and wheat gluten. Whole grain brown and white rice is used instead to promote better gestation. No preservatives are added to the food but flax seed is for Omega 3 fatty acids, along with rosemary extract and Vitamins C and E that act as natural preservatives.
