Clearwater/St. Petersburg Ski and Sports Club to MeetLARGO - The Clearwater/St. Pete Ski and Sports Club (The Snowsharks) will be hosting its next monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, at 1st N 10 Sports Bar, 776 North Missouri Ave. in Largo. Five ski trips are planned this year and trip leaders for each will be on hand to talk about their trips. Trip locations this year include a family trip to Keystone CO. for New Year's break, and other destinations also include Lake Tahoe CA, Taos NM, Salt Lake City UT, and Telluride CO. Additionally, this month the club is hosting a "Swap Shop" where people are welcome to bring ski gear and equipment and either trade it for other equipment or sell it to someone in need of new or replacement equipment. This is a great way to pick up that extra jacket or sell that pair of skis you don't need anymore. Everyone is invited to attend the monthly meeting s, to preview these trips, or to just stop by for a social meeting of friends.
