Who Let The Dogs Art?

On September 16, on the grounds of the historic (and dog-friendly) Belleview Biltmore, Fluffy Puppies will host their second art show. Proceeds for this year's "Who Let The Dogs Art?" art show will go to Southeastern Guide Dogs. Kris Logan-Walker, owner of Fluffy Puppies, Clearwater, put a call out to artists earlier this year, 15 have committed.

The variety of artwork represented includes the traditional and non-traditional. There will be sculptures, glassworks, jewelry, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal and oil. The common theme and subject of each piece of artwork will be dogs. Southeastern Guide Dogs will be on hand with their dogs and handlers giving demonstrations.

The first year "Who Let The Dogs Art?" was held (November, 2005) Fluffy Puppies was able to hand a check for $2000 to the SPCA Tampa Bay. Once again, Sandy Snider has donated the original artwork for the poster and t-shirts which will be on sale the day of the event.

Fluffy Puppies, a place for dogs, has two locations featuring unique items for dogs including clothing, accessories and travel gear. They also carry a wide selection of healthy dog food and treats. The Barkery, on the premises of the Clearwater store, bakes doggi treats daily.

Fluffy Puppies is located at 1447 S. Ft. Harrison in Clearwater - 727-446-7999.
