
USF Festival of Voices to Hold Finale ConcertTAMPA - The 2007 USF Festival of Voices, presented by the USF School of Music and The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, will hold its Finale Concert on Saturday, September 15, at 4 p.m. at Carrollwood Day School in Tampa. Over 300 high school students and teachers from across Florida will be participating in this year's Festival. Ensembles include the Festival Mixed Chorus conducted by Dr. Richard Zielinski, joined by the USF Chamber Singers and the Festival Women's Chorus conducted by Dr. Lynne Gackle, joined by the USF Bel Canto Women's Chorus. A mass choir of nearly 500 singers, including the high school participants singing 'side-by-side' with The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, will conclude the concert with excerpts of Faure's Requiem and Handel's Messiah as well as works by Alice Parker and Randall Thompson.
