City of Indian Rocks Beach Hurricane - Evacuation Re-Entry TagsThe City of Indian Rocks Beach is currently issuing re-entry tags to all residents allowing re-entry to the city after an evacuation. These tags are mandatory for re-entry to the city. No one will be allowed re-entry unless they are in possession of the tag. One tag will be issued per family. Proof of address within the city and an automobile registration must be presented at City Hall. There is no fee. It is suggested that this re-entry tag be kept in the glove box of the car you would use to evacuate and to re-enter the city. Should an emergency arise, the tag is to be hung from the rear view mirror. If you have already received a parking decal for years 2007/2008, you have already proved residency. You need only give your name and show an ID to receive your re-entry tag. If you have not applied for a parking decal and only wish to apply for the re-entry tag, go to City Hall ( 1507 Bay Palm Boulevard, Indian Rocks Beach) and fill out an application. Tags will be issued from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
